We created a focused research catalog with independent U.S. testing and batch-specific documentation to make those questions easier to answer. Every SÈVE product is for research use only. We do not make health claims, provide dosing advice, or suggest personal use.
Quality & Testing
How do I know what is actually in the vial?
Start with the batch number on the label. It connects the material to an independent laboratory report showing the identity and purity results, along with the specified contaminant screens. You do not have to rely on the label alone.
Who performs the testing?
SÈVE uses independent, U.S.-based analytical laboratories that hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. The specific laboratory may vary depending on the material and the testing required, but the standard remains the same: testing must be independent, specific to the batch, and documented in a laboratory-issued report. The testing laboratory’s name and credentials appear on the report itself.
What does ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation mean?
ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard used to evaluate the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of testing and calibration laboratories. In plain English, it provides an independent benchmark for how a laboratory performs and documents its work. Accreditation does not replace the need to review the actual methods and results for the batch, which is why SÈVE publishes the laboratory-issued report.
How does SÈVE test its products?
Every SÈVE batch is tested before release for:

Why is purity testing alone not enough?
Because a purity percentage answers only one question. It does not independently confirm the material’s identity or show whether it was screened for endotoxins, heavy metals, or residual solvents. Different questions require different tests. That is why SÈVE looks beyond a single number.
What does “99% purity” actually mean?
It usually refers to the result of an HPLC purity analysis. In practical terms, approximately 99% of the measured chromatographic signal was attributed to the primary peak under that test’s conditions. It does not necessarily mean the vial contains 99% peptide by weight, and it does not independently establish identity, potency, sterility, or safety. That is why the number should be read alongside the test method, identity confirmation, specified contaminant screens, and batch information.
What does SÈVE’s release testing cover?
Identity, purity, specified contaminants, and batch traceability. The product page and laboratory report show the tests performed for that particular material. We do not expect a reader to infer the standard from a “lab tested” badge.
Why does SÈVE publish the full report?
Because the conclusion matters, but so does the basis for it. The report shows which batch was tested, which methods were used, and what the laboratory found. That is more useful than a purity number copied onto a product page.
What is HPLC testing?
HPLC is a method used to evaluate purity by separating the components in a sample. In plain English, it helps show how much of the sample’s measured signal comes from the intended material versus related impurities. It does not, by itself, establish identity, sterility, potency, or safety.
What is mass spectrometry?
Mass spectrometry is used to confirm molecular identity. Put simply: HPLC evaluates purity, while mass spectrometry helps confirm that the material matches what the label says it is. Both answer different questions.
Does SÈVE test for endotoxins?
Yes. Every released batch is screened for endotoxins. These substances come from certain bacteria and are not measured by ordinary purity testing. Endotoxin screening is not the same as sterility testing.
Does SÈVE test for heavy metals?
Yes. Every released batch is screened for specified heavy metals. The applicable report shows the method and results.
Does SÈVE test for residual solvents?
Yes. Every released batch is screened for specified residual solvents that can remain from manufacturing or processing. The applicable report shows the method and results.
Why is “lab tested” not enough?
Because the phrase tells you almost nothing. It does not identify the batch, the tests performed, or the results. SÈVE publishes those details so the claim can be evaluated rather than merely accepted.
COAs & Documentation
What is a COA?
A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is the laboratory report for a batch. It should identify the material and batch, show the methods and results, and name the laboratory that performed the work. Think of it as the supporting evidence behind the product label.
What does a SÈVE COA show?
Depending on the material, the report includes the product name, batch number, testing methods, identity and purity results, specified contaminant screens, testing date, and laboratory information. Its purpose is simple: connect the material, the batch, and the evidence without guesswork.
Are SÈVE COAs batch-specific?
Yes. A report is useful only if it applies to the material being offered. The batch number on the label matches the batch number on the report.
Where can I find a COA?
Next to the product. Every listing shows the certificate for the current batch. The batch number on your label matches the certificate on the page, and the full library is always open for browsing.
Can I verify a COA independently?
We publish the original laboratory-issued report with the product. If the laboratory provides its own QR code, access code, or verification link, that information remains visible so you can confirm the report through the laboratory’s system.
Why are generic COAs less useful?
Because they may not apply to the batch being sold. Results can differ between production runs. Batch-specific documentation closes that gap by connecting the product directly to the testing.
Research Use Only
What does “research use only” mean?
SÈVE products are sold strictly for laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not foods, drugs, cosmetics, supplements, medical products, or consumer wellness products.
Are SÈVE products intended for human or animal use?
No. SÈVE products are not intended for human use, animal use, ingestion, injection, clinical use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or cosmetic use.
Can SÈVE provide dosing, treatment, or medical guidance?
No. SÈVE does not provide dosing protocols, treatment advice, clinical recommendations, injection guidance, or guidance for personal use. Our products are sold only for qualified research and laboratory applications.
Are SÈVE products FDA-approved?
No. SÈVE products are research-use-only materials. They are not FDA-approved drugs, supplements, cosmetics, or medical products.
Are SÈVE products safe?
SÈVE does not represent these materials as safe for human or animal use. The testing establishes only the characteristics listed in the laboratory report. It does not establish clinical safety or suitability for administration.
Clean Sourcing & Product Standards
What does SÈVE mean by “clean”?
We use the word to describe the process and presentation, not as a health claim. It means clear sourcing records, independent batch testing, specified contaminant screens, disciplined documentation, and restrained research-use-only language.
What happens if a batch does not meet SÈVE standards?
It is not released. A standard is meaningful only when a company is willing to reject material that does not meet it.
Why does SÈVE cost more than some RUO suppliers?
The price reflects independent testing, batch-level documentation, a disciplined release process, understated packaging, and responsive order support. Those inputs cost more, and we make them visible so you can decide whether the difference is worthwhile.
Shipping, Storage & Support
Where does SÈVE ship?
SÈVE currently ships within the United States. Orders are fulfilled from our third-party logistics facility in Arizona.
How quickly will my order arrive?
We use two-day shipping for domestic orders. Once your order leaves the Arizona fulfillment facility, you will receive an email with tracking information. Delivery timing may be affected by weekends, holidays, carrier delays, or an incorrect shipping address.
How much does shipping cost?
Two-day shipping is complimentary on orders of $200 or more. For orders below $200, the applicable shipping cost is shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
How are SÈVE products stored before they ship?
Our research peptides are kept in cold storage at the Arizona fulfillment facility until they are prepared for shipment. It is one more way SÈVE applies the same care to handling and fulfillment that it applies to testing and documentation.
Does cold storage mean my package remains refrigerated during delivery?
No. Cold storage describes how we maintain inventory before it ships. It does not mean the package remains refrigerated in transit unless the product page or shipping option specifically says so. Storage instructions for the material after delivery appear on the applicable product page.
How are SÈVE products packaged?
With discretion and care. Professional, clean, minimal, and secure. No loud claims. No gimmicks. Nothing on the outside that announces what is inside.
How should products be stored?
Storage depends on the specific compound. In general, research peptides should be kept sealed, dry, protected from light, and stored according to the product’s documentation. Proper storage matters because even a well-tested product can be compromised by poor handling.
